The Journal of Hand Surgery (European Volume) is the official Journal of FESSH is looking for new members
Over the last few years the Journal has been expanding in terms of social and digital media, recruitment of reviewers, FESSH sessions and global outreach.
We are interested in inviting a group of enthusiastic volunteers who want to join us.
If you have an interest in graphics, academic hand surgery, social media to promote scientific articles, translation activities, please let us know.

FESSH support to European hand surgery courses held 2025
Further to the success of FESSH support to European hand surgery courses held late 2024 / early 2025 course organisers are invited to apply or re-apply and submit their applications for future events before 10th March 2025. Please check the full funding criteria and application documents at: https://fessh.com/funding. Places are available for FESSH full member countries only.
FORM OF FUNDING
- FESSH allocates an annual budget for funding courses each year
- FESSH support is provided for one year and is subject to regular review
- Organisations can (re)apply each year to ensure competition
- FESSH support up to 50% of the full registration fee is provided to a certain number of delegates and not directly to course organisers. The number of supported delegates depends on the budget and registration fee rates
- Travel and accommodation of faculty are paid by the organization itself
- FESSH support is not provided for courses organized by industry
APPLICATION BY COURSE ORGANISERS
- Course organisers need to submit an application to have their course listed and offered for FESSH support
- Application form is available to download at https://fessh.com/funding/
- Applications shall be sent to education@fessh.com by 10 March 2025
- Scoring of applications and recommendation to FESSH Executive Committee is done by FESSH Education Committee
- Approval of courses is made at the FESSH Executive Committee meeting
- Notifications will be sent before end April 2025
- Courses approved by FESSH will be listed on FESSH website and advertised through FESSH marketing as well
